VISUAL Claims Studio is a modular system developed on the Microsoft platform using client server technology. The user-friendly interface also allows for customized and ad hoc reporting through our web-based claim reporting suite: VISUAL Reports Studio. Other features include:

Powerful payment processing tools allow you to monitor and control funds, effectively determine the total cost of risk, and evaluate claims costs within each line of business, policy, bank account, organizational hierarchy level and cost center. You can create, adjust and track reserves simply and efficiently.
Event tracking allows you to link multiple claims to a single causal event, thereby giving you an accurate picture of the consequences of catastrophic claims. Potentially compensable event tracking also allows you to screen for high-risk behavior or problem-prone areas, allowing for pro-active assessments and loss control.
Reporting is handled through Business Objects, a third party report writer capable of integrating with any open ODBC database.
VISUAL Risk Studio has over 2,000 documented software features and functions to provide clients with a great deal of versatility in the use and scope of the application. This has helped us create a large list of diverse customers, including but not limited to general industry, hospitals, utilities, governments, transportation, retail, insurance companies and third party administrators, just to name a few. Our clients also include large multi state, multi national Fortune 500 and 100 companies requiring complex geographic networking and internet deployed applications.
Visual Risk Solutions also offers a client specific web portal infrastructure (VISUAL Risk Studio Portal™) to complement the traditional claims processing functions and offer a more enterprise risk management (ERM) solution to encompass additional risk and exposure data tailored to a clients needs. Clients can host department documentation like: procedural guidelines, department forms, exposure data and other information needing access via a departmental intranet or internet web portal. The portal can also include a central area to link into the VISUAL Claims Studio application.

VISUAL Liquid Web™ & EFROI.com
VISUAL Liquid Web™ technology gives clients the ability to have customizable front-end data capture products. Since the product design is built around how you capture information, it is the easiest and fastest way to gather data. The system integrates directly with the VISUAL Claims Studio so you never need to re-key information. When you use the optional Studio Rules EngineT, you can auto assign adjusters, attach work flow tasks, create diaries, and even set a reserve, all from the original web entry.
In addition, as an industry early innovator in the design of website submission of electronic event and first reporting, we formed EFROI.ComT. This online hosted service allows clients to electronically capture Event and State First Reports of Injury data over the web. The system produces the required supporting forms and routes them directly to your data warehouse, third party administrator, insurance company or central office. Completed data can be stored on our data warehouse or integrated directly into your claims environment.
Claims Management Module
Extensive Business Rules: The VISUAL Risk Studio comes with an extensive list of automated business rules designed to help you process claims faster and with greater efficiency. System generated rules can automatically create diaries and to-do list items for a variety of claim management functions.
Electronic Mail Interface: Reports and screenshots can all be sent electronically through the VISUAL Claims Studio email interface through Microsoft Outlook.
Diary System: VISUAL Claims Studio incorporates a robust diary system to help keep claims adjusters fully informed during the life cycle of a claim. Adjusters can monitor both pending and completed tasks through the Calendar screen which includes future actions and divides information by categories and sub-categories. System generated tasks are also flagged for easy identification. An extensive Notes tab allows for narrative commentary on actions while the diary history screen displays completed activities. Multiple system generated reports can easily be produced through the standard template reporting tool to help manage adjuster workload and productivity.
Litigation Tracking: Litigation information and events are stored within the claim file and diary tools. This allows for integrated management of all aspects of the claim life cycle, including if and when the claim becomes litigated and tracking the outcome.
EDI & e-Commerce: Clients and state entities are quickly incorporating mandatory EDI submission requirements for banking, data extracts, supply chain automation, FROI and SROI notification and regulatory compliance. Leveraging our EDI and e-commerce technology can increase your efficiency and drive more accurate reporting while eliminating the paper burden. The VISUAL Claim Studio incorporates the most robust EDI solution available in the market, Red Oak SystemsT. This application incorporates breakthrough Business Edit System technology that preprocesses and validates EDI data prior to transmission. In combination with this tool set, our approach incorporates proven sequencing routines, triggers and enhanced workflow processes to improve predictability and accuracy of your data.
Organization Hierarchy: VISUAL Risk Studio comes with a user-configurable organization hierarchy. The hierarchy also contains information on the company's departments, contact names, insurance programs, audit data, and more.
Check Printing: Payment processing and check printing is handled through the optional Check Processing module integrated in the VISUAL Claims Studio. Multiple payees, scheduled payments, third party garnishments, are just a few of the functions available in this module. Check stock can be pre-printed or laser printed as needed, complete with MICR bar-coding and customer logos.
Search Capabilities: VISUAL Risk Studio incorporates an extensive search function to look up claims and claimants in a variety of methods including but not limited to claim number, event number, claim date, claim type, claimant's name, organization hierarchy level and social security number.
Document Imaging: More and more claims departments are becoming paperless and VISUAL Risk Studio allows you to make this move without concern. Robust, user friendly document imaging capabilities allow you to save, store, and view documents and other file types attached to individual claim records. Clients utilizing our hosting environment can also leverage an enterprise imaging system for more robust imaging requirements.
Contact Management: Full contact information is stored within VISUAL Risk Studio for easy access and retrieval. This information includes all potential parties involved in a claim for historical retrieval and trending analysis.

Multiple Claimants: VISUAL Risk Studio allows multiple claimants to be tracked on a single claim or incident.
Case/Medical Management: Case Management and Medical Management is an integrated module within the VISUAL Claims Studio application. Body Parts injured, Nature of the Injury, Case management notes, ICD9 codes and CPT codes/diagnosis are some of the standard informational fields that are tracked in this area. Clients can also leverage our optional Pharmacy Benefits tracking tool for detailed prescription and medication tracking.

The VISUAL Reports Studio utilizes the "WebIntelligence" and ad hoc tools within the BusinessObjects reporting tools.

There are over 150 standard template reports included in the VISUAL Reports Studio which include Business Objects template reports and Standard Templates reports within the VISUAL Risk Studio. These reports range from Loss Runs, Experience Reports, Frequency and Severity reports, claims analysis and adjuster productivity reports to name a few.
